For over 20 years the Arizona Aqua Stars has been developing girls into nationally accomplished athletes in the sport of synchronized swimming. It is Mesa, Arizona's, premiere synchronized swimming team. AAS started in 1983, by Linda Witter, now head coach of The Ohio State Collegiate National Champions and former head coach of the U.S. Olympic Synchronized Swimming Team. Our team is now led by head coach Jill Parr. She was the 2008 West Zone Coach of the Year, the 2009 13-15 National Team Assistant Coach, and the 2010 Junior Developmental Coach of the Year.

The coaches' mission continues to be increasing enthusiasm for synchronized swimming by improving the skill levels of all athletes. They emphasize strength training, conditioning, nutrition, routine performance, choreography, and maintaining a mental edge while building team camaraderie and individual self-esteem.

The Arizona Aqua Stars is Arizona's most elite and nationally ranked team in the state. No other team in Arizona has as many nationally ranked swimmers and national team members than AAS. This tradition of excellence starts with our novice and beginner level classes and continues with our recreational and competitive teams.
