IMAGINE, A GYMNAST, PERFORMING UNDER WATER SWIMMING A 400 METER FREESTYLE WITHOUT TAKING A BREATH, NOW, ADD ARTISTIC FLARE, GRACE, ELEGANCE, POWER YOU CALL IT WHAT YOU WANT "WE CALL IT A SPORT" "WE ARE THE ARIZONA AQUA STARS" The Aqua Stars boast a large pool of individual and team talent from its homegrown program that was started in 1983, by Linda Witter, now head coach of the Ohio State University. Today the Aqua Stars continue their success as an independent, non-profit organization operated by the AASPA (Arizona Aqua Star Parent Association). The team has had numerous team accomplishments in the state, national and international arena: |

Do you have a child who loves to swim, do gymnastics or dance and is interested in trying synchronized swimming? This Summer would be a perfect time to take the plunge and give us a try:). Try Synchro for Free is a one hour class where new swimmers can work with the Aqua Stars for an hour and see if the would like to explore the sport of synchronized swimming. I would like to congratulate the swimmers for a great showing at the 2008 Age Group National Championships. Way to go girls!  The clubs final competition of the season will be Junior/Senior US Open Championship,that will take place July 13-19 in Cleveland, Ohio. The team will be sending 2 JR teams along with many small routines.
