IMAGINE, A GYMNAST, PERFORMING UNDER WATER SWIMMING A 400 METER FREESTYLE WITHOUT TAKING A BREATH, NOW, ADD ARTISTIC FLARE, GRACE, ELEGANCE, POWER YOU CALL IT WHAT YOU WANT "WE CALL IT A SPORT" "WE ARE THE ARIZONA AQUA STARS" The Aqua Stars boast a large pool of individual and team talent from its homegrown program that was started in 1983, by Linda Witter, now head coach of the Ohio State University. Today the Aqua Stars continue their success as an independent, non-profit organization operated by the AASPA (Arizona Aqua Star Parent Association). The team has had numerous team accomplishments in the state, national and international arena: |

Do you have a child who loves to swim, do gymnastics or dance and is interested in trying synchronized swimming? Try Synchro for Free is a one hour class where new swimmers can work with the Aqua Stars to see if the would like to explore the sport of synchronized swimming. Classes are being offered in October and November . Please send registration information to Arizona Aqua Stars c/o Kim Wills 3343 E. Dover Circle, Mesa AZ 85213. Cost is $20.00 per person including pizza and a drink. Mark your calendar for November 22nd for our annual "Swing for the Stars" golf tournament being held at Superstition Springs Golf Club.
